 Corsets styles cater to every possible taste

Corsets, a core fashion piece of lingerie has been the foundation of women's fashion for centuries. While the corset was the most intimate of women's underwear at the start of the twentieth century, it has become the flamboyant, rebellious and sexy 'underwear as outerwear', associated with fantasy and eroticism by the end. The most common use of corsets is to slim the body and make it conform to a fashionable silhouette. wasp waist corset style for extended periods, known as tightlacing, men and women can learn to tolerate extreme waist constriction and reduce their natural waist size. Corset styles tightlacers usually aim for 40 to 43 centimeter (16 to 17 inch) waists. Until 1998, the Guinness Book of World Records listed Ethel Granger as having the smallest waist on record at 13". After 1998, the category changed to "smallest waist on a living person" and Cathie Jung took the title with a 15" waist. These are extreme cases.
What requires special mentioning is the fact that the corsets' functions are not limited solely to serving the beauty, their great salubrious effect is hailed. This appealing combination of aesthetic and orthopaedic properties of corsets has secured their success among the ladies. The history of corset wearing tells us that in the course of corset evolution not only ladies, but also men made extensive use of corstes advantages. Mention must be made of the fact that men are welcome to resort to corset wearing when they are confronted with back pain or other disorders, which can be remedied with the help of corsets. Speaking about various corsets styles, wasp waist corset style deserves special mentioning. It does a great job in making the lady's figure correspond to the conventional standards of beauty. The overwhelming variety of corsets styles is conditioned by the endeavor to cater to all possible tastes of the customers.
